Fashioning Change: Halle Berry Designed the Sexiest Black Dress but It’s Not Sustainable

Have you ever had a favorite celebrity that lived up to your expectations in beauty, fitness, and more, but not necessarily in sustainable fashion? If so, we know the feeling. At ImpactFashionUSA, we expect celebrities to utilize their epic platforms for the greater good as much as possible.

But oftentimes, we find that our favorite people may not be as caring about the people that stan them.

Case in check, Halle Berry. Berry imposes a uniquely multi-ethnic appeal and infuses her cosmic grace with mesmerizing acting capability. We have been following her on the gram and noted her great acting.

She has been acting like a tough guy. A fitness jezebel. We have been following because our new website, ImpactLuxe.com is the latest platform for women to get modern chic athleisure casual clothing.

Because we care so much about our impact, we are prototyping our our fitness girl line of cute dresses and graphic tees that mimic the looks of Halle Berry’s illustrious LBD activewear.

Yes that’s right, Halle Berry has partnered with Sweaty Betty to re-spin non-sustainable goods.

And chile, we are tired of it! Her expensive fitness line looks exactly like our modern chic, but she isn’t telling the truth about the artisans #BehindtheSeams. We want Halle Berry and Sweaty Betty to tell us, #WhoMadeYourClothes!

We have made a sustainable line of clothing using organic cotton and hemp-blend. Our designs include graphic printed onesies, and dresses.

So check out these interesting comparisons, which we have re-spun:

  • Pact

  • Respin

The price for the Pact “Crush Midi Slip Dress” is $80, while the Respin “Emily Strappy Back Dress” is 120 pounds, which is equivalent to a little over $135.

  • Pact – back

  • Respin – back

Another alternative to the Re-spin dress is this organic cotton dark grey “Vintage Pocket Dress” by Pact.

  • Pact – front

  • Pact – back

So far, we have spent no money on any of these dresses. Because the latest drop is not the issue. The issue is fashion queens throw out clothing and THAT is why we’re promoting #NoNewClothes starting June 1st 2021 as a Remake Ambassador. Remake (@remakeourworld on IG).

Please follow me @ImpactFashionUSA on Instagram if you want to see the upcoming campaign from our editor’s eyes.

Thank you so much for your readership.

Sincerely,

Lia T.
